Exemplary Standing

Medical Priorities has been accredited by Accreditation Canada since 2013. We have been Accredited with Exemplary Standing under the Qmentum Accreditation program by Accreditation Canada for 2019-2023.

In order to meet the Accreditation Canada standards’, we have undergone a thorough assessment and review of the eight quality dimensions namely Accessibility, Appropriateness, Client-Centered Services, Continuity, Efficiency, Population Focus, Safety and Work life, Medical Priorities achieved 100% success in each area surveyed. The organization surpassed all the Qmentum requirements and demonstrated excellence in quality improvement.

We achieved an outstanding 100% success in meeting all Criteria set against the following Priority Processes and Standard Requirements for quality set by Accreditation Canada:

•  Infection Prevention and Control Standards for Community-Based Organizations

•  Leadership Standards for small, Community Based Organizations

•  Medication Management Standards for Community Based Organizations

• Home Support Services – Service Excellence Standards

• Organization Leadership, Governance, Clinical programs and services

We’ve become more efficient, we’ve clarified our goals, and we have a strategic plan for our future.

Our recent accreditation showcases our focus on personalized Client Centered care that is both safe and of the highest quality. This is an ongoing process as we are always working to improve our policies and procedures to continually meet national standards.

We couldn’t do this without the help of our excellent, committed caregivers. We can’t say enough about how they surprise us everyday with their unheralded acts of kindness and the wow effect they give to their clients.
